Sugaring paste is applied at body temperature and will not burn your skin. Hot wax must be heated to a high temperature in order to become liquified, which can cause burning and scarring.
Sugar paste can be cleaned up easily with water. You will never leave a sugaring treatment feeling sticky. Since wax contains resins, chemical solvents are required to remove its residue.

If you want your full moneys worth. Go to Amy. Hands down the best Brazilian wax experience I’ve ever had. She takes her time and makes you super comfortable! You can tell she puts herself in our shoes and she knows exactly when and how to alleviate the pain associated with the experience. If I could give her 10 stars I would!!!

Everyone I have been with at the Merrick location has been wonderful, but Amy has been the best for my Brazilian waxes. I am incredibly sensitive to pain in that area and have cried my way through sessions in the past. I have NEVER been so AT EASE with a technician before. Amy’s energy, empathy, patience, sweet and kind spirit, accuracy, precision, and skill have changed my sugaring experiences!! I spend my sessions laughing, smiling, talking, and giggling with her. We always laugh because when I first started with her, I informed her that I could not talk during waxing because of the pain and that I would probably cry. I have not shed one tear with her!! Even on the most sensitive spots (the lips), she cleans everything up well and is so patient and comforting. 10/10. I would recommend this location and Amy if you are very sensitive to pain!!
